I knew it wasn't going to be easy...
taking care of a newborn is not easy...
breastfeeding is surely not easy...
losing sleep is not easy...
getting help from others is not easy...
broke down a few times due to tiredness and stress... when one slept for only 3 hours every night and had to deal with baby crying, stress is unavoidable, right...
to breastfeed really needs a very strong mind and determination to push you to carry on... i almost gave up a few times.. lucky thing is that i didnt standby any formula milk at home, if not i would have give in to it...
now Ethan is feeding from bottled breastmilk most of the time... so i know how much he is drinking and because i am getting lazier... bottle feed is much much faster than direct feed... 10 mins compared to 30 mins... =0
every MID-night, i have to wake up at least 2 times to feed him, burp him, change his diaper, change his clothes coz he always spit out milk after feeding... this will take me at least one hr...
I hope he will soon grow out of this phase so we all can sleep throughout the night... staying over at my parent's place isn't that easy and comfortable when we are imposing on others, though they are our family i still feel paisei... ;(
